In 2008 (give or take a year or two), a Games Meetup in Boston offered an opportunity for beginners to learn Mah Jongg. I was fortunate to have a great teacher that evening, and happily found that I loved Mah Jongg! When we moved to Pittsburgh in 2012, I started a Mah Jongg meetup which is still going strong. I love to play, and I love to teach!

I offer classes for beginners, and I also enjoy teaching private classes.

My teaching style is friendly and supportive. Mah Jongg is a wonderful game… and when I introduce you to Mah Jongg, I want you to love the game as much as I do!

I love Mah Jongg.  My grandmother taught me to play when I was a teenager and my passion for it has only grown over the years.  I now teach the game to others and I ran Mah Jongg tournaments in Pittsburgh in 2018 and 2019.

I grew up in Massachusetts and moved to Pittsburgh to attend Carnegie Mellon University. I now live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. My twin boys and my husband are very supportive of my Mah Jongg obsession.

I offer classes for beginners, and I can also teach private groups of 3-4 players.

Teaching Mah Jongg and seeing the enjoyment people get from playing this wonderful game brings me joy!
